Burntstore Marina

Realmark Group was formed in 2000 by company president Will Stout, who had come to Burnt Store Marina to retire after developing properties and owning a real estate brokerage for the past 30 years in Atlanta.  Retirement was short-lived, as Will discovered a partially developed 150-acre waterfront site in Cape Coral with huge potential.  This piece of paradise, situated just 3 ½ miles from the Gulf of Mexico, would become Cape Harbour; an upscale waterfront community surrounding a public, deepwater marina where people could live, work, boat, dine and shop.

In 2001, Realmark acquired Burnt Store Marina; the largest marina on Florida’s west coast, with more than 500 slips.  In 2006, Realmark obtained the entire Burnt Store Marina community from its original developer, with a vision to enhance its amenities and transform it into a world-class, waterfront community, similar to Cape Harbour.

Realmark is developing several other communities throughout Southwest Florida, including Entrada, Tucker’s Grade, Judd Creek and Telegraph Creek, as well as sites in North Carolina.

Realmark’s corporate symbol is the sextant, a precision tool used by sailors to navigate the high seas.  Reliable and accurate, the sextant was the tool trusted to lead them home.  Realmark serves in that same tradition.  With the highest caliber of team members and resources, Realmark Group has set its course to raise the quality of life in the communities it serves and is delivering on its promises to be the best.
